early spring cleaning
Hey everyone, I know its not spring yet, but I'm cleaning up my hoophouse so soon I can grow spinach, chard, and other cool growing crops in there. How do you guys clean up your greenhouse? How do you sterilize and or clean off the walls? My hoophouse has some disgusting algea moss stuff growing on the wet walls. How do I get this stuff off? It's very wet where I live, and hard to keep the inside of the hoophouse dry. Can you use soap and water on the walls without hurting future plants?
Thanks, Taryn |

I use bio green clean on my glasshouse- the walls floor etc putting it on with a sprayer diluted as per the mixing instructions, let it soak for a few minutes, then spray it off with a hose. Let it dry good, then spray with consan triple action 20 diluted in the same sprayer and let it dry.

Not sure but why is'nt the spinach already growing T? I tear out the summer crops in late summer and start planting the fall/winter/spring stuff. I use a weak bleach solution to get rid of the algae on the plastic. Taking it easy with a cloth and such and rinse very well.
